Provide the property address, the survey you require and our sophisticated algorithms will match the requirements with one of our local approved RICS surveyors who can complete your survey in as little as 24 hours. Unlike most other surveying websites, we are not a price comparison site and we do not add commission onto the price of your survey.

When you have provided the basic information required to obtain a free instant online quote, You will be presented with two quotations, One is a recommended option and the other is a cheaper option. We also email you a copy of the quotations for any future reference to allow customers time to consider the quoted price.

Although The quote you receive is instant it will still come direct from one of our local verified and reputable surveyors and the price quoted is the price we pay directly to the surveyor when your survey has bee completed. Learn more here..

Book Survey

Upon receiving your free quote you have the option to Book your Survey, It has never been easier to book a survey online with MyLocalSurveyor, We have made the process very easy with only 1 step needed where you click the Book Now button that takes you to the payment page where you can complete your payment using our secure encrypted payment gateway powered by Stripe. You can read more about stripe here. Stripe are the leaders in online payment processing with billions of pounds worth of transactions through there secure channels.

Appointment Scheduled

When you have completed the payment we begin the scheduling process and assigning one of our local approved surveyors, we additionally hold the funds you paid in a secure account until your survey has been completed. This is to protect both you and the surveyor. We only release the funds to the surveyor once the survey has been completed and you are in receipt of your survey report. To schedule your survey we contact the person that is able to provide access for the surveyor such as your estate agent, vendor, property manager, etc... We understand most clients require a quick turnaround so we schedule the earliest appointment available for all parties involved that can provide access for the surveyor to ensure your survey is turnaround as fast as possible, most surveys are completed within 1 - 3 days of the survey being booked.

Direct Contact

Once your survey has been scheduled and one of our surveyors have been assigned, You are automatically provided the contact details for your surveyor and the surveyor is provided the contact details for you. You are then free to contact the surveyor to go over any questions you may have in regards to the property this will also give you the chance to highlight any aspects you wish the surveyor to look into on your behalf, The surveyor will also contact you again once the survey has been completed to go over the report and to give you an overview of the report.

Surveyor Attends

The surveyor will attend the property on the scheduled date and time, All our surveyors have 24/7 access to the customers we have assigned to them where they receive regular notifications such as appointment updates and reminders. On the given day the surveyor will either collect the keys to the property from the estate agent, vendor or manager prior to attending the property or will usually head straight to the property where he/she is granted access to conduct the survey report.

Survey Completed

Upon completing the survey the surveyor will begin to put together the survey report, this usually happens the same day or within 24 hours of the survey being completed, our surveyors usually complete the survey report within 48 hours of the survey being completed. The surveyor will then Sign the survey off as completed and finalise the report to include photographs that have been taken during the survey.

Receive Report

To ensure our customers receive their survey report as quickly as possible, Our surveyor will upload your survey to your MyLocalSurveyor account where you can login 24/7 and download as many copies of your report as possible, You can also view your report online including the photographs, You can also forward a copy of your report to any 3rd party such as solicitor and much more all from within your MyLocalSurveyor dashboard.

The surveyor will also send a copy of your survey report to your email address and a copy will be sent by 1st class royal mail to the address you specify in the client instructions section when you book your survey.
